How to play Campus Hustle
Choose your university, then your college, then run from the Main Gate to graduation one semester at a time. Most courses run 8 semesters; health sciences run 12.
Controls
- On a phone: the arrow pad moves you, and Jump jumps. Slide your thumb between the arrows to turn around.
- On a computer: ← → or A D to run, Space to jump (hold it for a higher jump), P to pause. In exams, 1 2 3 pick an answer.
Credits and your class
Gold coins are credits, and they decide your class at graduation. A lone coin on the ground often means a secret stash is hidden above it. Each semester ends with three timed exam questions, one of them about your own university, worth 3 credits each.
Friends and enemies
- Waakye from a ? block is an extra heart. Pasco (past questions) makes you untouchable for eight seconds.
- Deadlines and red resits walk; jump on them. Mosquitoes hover at jump height.
- Your college has its own hazard: lab burners, paper planes, trolleys, gears or falling books.
- Falling into an open gutter costs a heart. Lose all your hearts and you resit the semester from the last checkpoint, minus a tenth of your banked credits.
Each year
Level 100 has the shuttle and the rainy season. Level 200 has dumsor. Level 300 has drums and falling pure water. Level 400 has harmattan gusts. Your last semester ends with a final hurdle: Project Work, the Long Essay or the Final Clinical Exam.
Hall weeks and jama rounds
Six hall weeks sit on your route. On the dance floor a jama round starts: press Jump each time a drum reaches the ring. Every beat you hit is a bonus credit; wild tapping costs you.
Cedis, the shop and choices
Stomping enemies and finding stashes earns cedis. Between semesters spend them on waakye, photocopied notes, a mosquito coil or an umbrella. Between the two semesters of a year you choose to rest for five hearts or study for 8 credits.
Postcards and Extras
Each semester you pass a well-known landmark on your campus; run past it to collect its postcard. From the title screen, Extras holds your postcard album, practice for semesters you have reached, and a save code to carry on in another browser.
